to know.

Model access and costs

You need an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 26 or later. Hermes is included, but model access and trial credits are not. Bring your own provider API key or a supported account connection. Your provider’s plan, availability, usage limits and charges apply; a subscription does not guarantee access to every model.

Cloud conversations, connected services and internet radio require a network connection. An existing local model server can be configured separately; Worldlet does not install a local model for you.

Where your data goes

Your world, extracted items and local history are stored on your Mac. Hermes may retain conversation, tool results and memory locally, including content read from a source.

Messages sent to Fox go to the model provider you configure. Connecting a source and allowing private content processing are separate choices. Once permitted, relevant source content may be sent to that provider for replies and item extraction. Provider retention and processing terms apply; local storage does not mean all processing stays on your Mac.

Voice prefers on-device recognition when available. Cloud transcription fallback sends audio to Worldlet’s Cloudflare service. Optional live voice uses a separate online service. Weather sends approximate coordinates to a weather service after you request location. Opening a website or network radio contacts that service directly.

Connections and limits

An Applet’s website login and its Worldlet data connection are separate. Google sign-in may require the system browser; signing in there does not sign the embedded page in. Some integrations require a test account or service approval.

Automated source checks are bounded and run only while Worldlet is open. They are not a complete backup or a guarantee that every task, message or event will be found. Verify important items against the original source. A visible Applet does not mean every integration or action is ready.

Keeping and removing data

Disconnecting an account does not erase saved items, imported content or Hermes history and memory. You can also revoke access in the source service’s account settings. A complete in-app backup, restore and selective data deletion flow is still being built; contact us for help before deleting local files.

Email kelvin@clockless.ai with your Worldlet version, macOS version and the steps that failed. Do not send API keys, tokens or private source content.

The small Settings button at the bottom left includes Debug. That panel shows local models, connected accounts and stored-data counts, and can export a diagnostics file with version information, connection states and recent error codes. It does not include private text or upload anything automatically. Review the file before choosing to share it.
